'XXX'는 시각예술, 건축, 조경, 음악, 문학 등 다양한 분야의 기술과 의견을 가진 이들로 구성되어 있다. 새로운 예술적 실험을 시도하면서도 사회 구성원과 논의할 수 있는 형태의 조형 언어를 구축해보고자 결성된 'XXX'는 이번 『링크(LINK)』 사업을 통해 '오래된 집'을 주제로 한 프로젝트 『HxOxMxE』를 진행하며, 이와 연계된 현장 투어형 프로그램 [오래된 집은 이윽고 밤을 맞이하기로 했다]와 [여섯 개의 구멍, 두 개의 삼각형, 꼬챙이 복도]를 선보이고자 한다. 『HxOxMxE』는 동시대의 경제적, 사회적 논리 속에서 곧 삭제될 서울의 '오래된 집'에 대한 연구를 기반으로 한다. 'XXX'는 故노XX씨(84세)와 이XX씨(90세)의 오랜 주거 공간에 응축된 50여년 분의 내러티브 즉, 개인이 영위해온 삶의 터전과 그 내밀한 역사를 파악하고 이를 다각적인 관점으로 재해석해가는 과정을 통해 주거지에 대한 다채로운 사유를 전개해가고자 한다. 더불어 관객들과 함께 이 사적인 공간에 내포된 사회적 감수성을 논의해보려는 시도 또한 꾸준히 이어갈 예정이다.
'XXX' is comprised of individuals with expertise and opinions in various fields such as visual arts, architecture, landscaping, music, and literature. Formed with the aim of constructing a sculptural language that can be experimented with artistically while also engaging in discussions with members of society, 'XXX' has initiated the project 'HxOxMxE' on the theme of "old houses" through the 'LINK' project. Alongside this, they intend to present field tour programs titled "[The old house decided to greet the night eventually]" and "[Six holes, two triangles, skwer corridors]." 'HxOxMxE' is based on research into the 'old houses' of Seoul that are soon to be erased within the contemporary economic and social logic. 'XXX' seeks to unfold diverse narratives about residential areas through the process of grasping the narratives condensed in the long-term living spaces of the late Mr. No (84) and Ms. Lee (90), understanding the grounds of life they have carried out for over 50 years, and reinterpreting their intimate histories from various perspectives. Furthermore, they plan to continuously attempt to discuss the societal sensibilities inherent in this private space with the audience.
