<이동하는 동그라미>는 친할머니께서 계절에 따라 옥상에서 키우는 화분을 옥상에서 3층으로, 3층에서 옥상으로 옮기는 모습에 착안한 작품이다. 매년 빠짐없이 이동하는 화분은 할머니의 생의 의지를 내포한다고 보았고, 이에 식물이 생명력을 갖고 스스로 이동하는 형태를 상상했다. 옥상의 화분 제라늄, 백봉국화, 산세베리아가 허물을 벗고 성장하며 스스로 이동하는 존재로 가정하고 이를 시각화하였다.

"The Moving Circle" is a piece inspired by my grandmother's habit of moving the pots she tends on the rooftop up to the third floor and back again with the changing seasons. Observing this yearly ritual, I interpreted the moving flowerpots as a reflection of her life's determination, leading me to imagine plants with their own vitality moving autonomously. I envisioned the geraniums, white chrysanthemums, and sansevierias on the rooftop sliped out of their skin, growing, and moving independently, and brought this visualization to life.
